Toxenaris = Timo Aspelmeier
Toxenaris is a studio music project consisting of Timo Aspelmeier and a varying cast of friends and guest musicians, providing a complex yet accessible combination of instrumental jazz rock and progressive rock with electronic, classical and contrapuntal elements.
A listening recommended for all lovers of the most intricate sounds of prog music, with strong jazz and classical influences, but still managing to be appreciated by audiences less accustomed to these styles. The terrain is experimental, eclectic electronic progressive music laced with complexity, whimsy, textures, programmed and occasionally live drums, some live cello, violin and grand piano, guitars and walls, rivers and streams of synthesized music.
